Where is Roots located?Roots is a cottage style bakery, which means all items are prepared in our home kitchen with proper sanitary measures. We are also a proud vendor of the Keller Farmer’s Market (400 Bear Creek Parkway, Keller, TX 76248), and can be found in person every Saturday from 8am-12pm at this event. Where can I pick up my “Sweet Side” order?Once your order is placed, a confirmation email will be sent with information regarding curbside pickup at our Keller/Fort Worth address (76177). You may also select Market Pickup, which is for pickup at the Keller Farmer’s Market on the upcoming Saturday between 8am-12pm. Please note that cakes and cupcakes will not have the option for Market Pickup.

How will I know what items will be offered at the Market?Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to catch our Market Lineup, which will be posted every Monday and will include all the fabulous treats we will be offering that week. There is also a tab on our “Shop” page called “Market Lineup” that will feature our weekly Market items! In addition, don’t forget to subscribe to our bv newsletter to keep tabs on our Market options and all of the exciting new releases we have on the horizon!

How do Market Preorders work?Place an order on the “Market Lineup” tab on our Shop page for as many items as you’d like, and meet us at the Keller Farmer’s Market (400 Bear Creek Parkway, Keller, TX 76248) from 8am-12pm on the upcoming Saturday for pick up!

Can I order items to be picked up at the Farmers Market that are not on the week’s Market Lineup?Absolutely! Just specify at checkout that you will be picking your items up at the Market, and it will be available for pickup at the Keller Farmer’s Market (400 Bear Creek Parkway, Keller, TX 76248) between 8am-12pm on the upcoming Saturday.

Am I able to order single servings outside of Market Items?Unfortunately, we will only be offering single servings at the Market. However, we create a new menu at the beginning of every week, so if you’d like to try individual servings of a particular item, send us an email and we will do our best to add it to the next Market Lineup!

Do you offer custom cakes?At this time, the only custom option we are offering are custom cookies. However, if you would like a specific color icing or sprinkles on a particular cake, please reach out and we will happily accommodate!

How much notice must be given for custom cookie orders?Please allow a three-week notice for cookie orders. Should you need an order sooner, please send an email with your request to see if our calendar allows for a rush order.

How long are “The Sweet Side” good?Keep in mind, most of our items are shelf-stable, which means they do not require refrigeration. However, for optimal freshness, we recommend storing in an airtight container and using the following as a general rule: Cookies (5-7 days in room temperature, 3 months in the freezer) Brownies (3-4 days in room temperature, 1 week in the fridge, 3 months in the freezer) Cakes and Bundt cakes (vary from 2-4 days in the fridge depending on icing type and toppings/ganache, 3 months in the freezer) Cupcakes (2-3 days in the fridge, 3 months in the freezer) Pies (3-4 days in the fridge, 4 months in the freezer) Bread (7 days in the fridge, 4 months in the freezer) Cobbler (3-4 days in the fridge, 6-8 months in the freezer) Rugelach (1-2 weeks in room temperature, 3-4 weeks in the fridge, 3 months in the freezer) Muffins (3-4 days in the fridge, 3 months in the freezer)

Do you offer shipping on “The Sweet Side” orders?Unfortunately, we do not currently offer shipping on baked goods.

Do you offer delivery on “The Sweet Side” orders?At this time, we are not offering delivery. Stay tuned as a delivery option is coming soon!

Do your products contain nuts?Some of our items do contain nuts. Be sure to check the description of the item for any common allergens contained.

Do you have any gluten free options?Our Glazed Banana Bundt cake is a vegan option that is both gluten & nut free. We are also in the process of creating new gluten free menu options; stay tuned!

Is Grandma’s Cookie Dough edible?Although the dough smells incredible, we wouldn’t advise eating it! The dough is prepared with kitchen grade ingredients but I can promise it will not be tasty.

Is Grandma’s Cookie Dough ruined once dried up overnight?No!! That’s one of the greatest things about our Cookie Dough kits; simply place your hardened Cookie Dough in a sealed Ziplock overnight after working about a teaspoon of warm water into the Cookie Dough. After a few hours, the Cookie Dough will be back in original form and ready for little hands again!

How long until I should replace Grandma’s Cookie Dough?We recommend replacing your Cookie Dough every 3 months.
